Each WAVER device operates independently by default, maintaining local configuration and enforcing all policies at the device level. When enabled, administrators can selectively synchronize configuration elements and authentication data to achieve centralized visibility and operational efficiency. PointX CM is designed for multi-location deployments and advanced environments requiring coordinated management across distributed networks, and can be enabled or disabled at any time.
